The Thiel Choir is the main performing choir of the College. It tours annually during spring break to all regions of the eastern United States and Canada. Once every four years, the choir makes an international tour. The choir performs at Thiel convocations, at area churches, sings at the Thiel Christmas Festival and joins with area community singers each spring to perform oratorios, cantatas or other larger choral works.

Membership is open to Thiel students and selected Thiel High School Scholars through an audition process at the beginning of each semester. Contact Dr. Michael Bray for more information.

Thiel Choir 2004 International Tour to Scandinavia:  The Thiel Choir, under the direction of Dr. Michael Bray completed a tour of Scandinavia and St. Petersburg, Russia May 10-21, 2004.  The tour included the following cities: Stockholm, Sweden, Tallinn, Estonia, St. Petersburg, Russia and Helsinki, Finland. The choir performed five full concerts and impromptu performances in breathtaking venues and cathedrals.

Thiel Choir 2008 International Tour to Austria and northern Italy: The Thiel Choir, under the direction of Dr. Michael Bray, embarked on a tour of Austria and northern Italy May 5-17, 2008. The tour included the following cities and concert venues: Saltzburg (Saltzburg Cathedral) and Vienna (St. Stephen’s Cathedral), Austria; Venice (Joint concert with local men’s choir), Spoleto, Assisi (Basilica of San Francesco), Norcia (Basilica of San Benedetto), Rome and Tivoli (Cathedral) Italy.
