Program Requirements

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers a variety of programs. The baccalaureate major programs are designed to prepare you for graduate school, for careers, or (with additional courses from the Education Department) to teach these topics at the secondary or elementary level. The minors offered by the department are intended to compliment other majors, particularly in the sciences, business and accounting fields. They will help you succeed in graduate school and in careers in these areas. The associate degree in MIS will prepare you for an entry level position in this field or can also serve as a valuable compliment to a baccalaureate degree in business administration or accounting.
