Requirements

The major is designed to provide a broad-based understanding of communication theory in various communication contexts. Students will integrate theory and its practical application through a variety of courses and experiences. The major prepares students for careers in the public and private sector, print and broadcast media, publishing, government, public relations, and business. The major also provides adequate breadth and depth for students who wish to pursue graduate studies.
