The Thiel College Business Administration and Accounting Department offers Bachelor of Arts and Associate of Arts degrees, and minors in the following:
Bachelor of Arts Degrees
Accounting The objective of the accounting program is to develop a solid foundation for public accounting, governmental accounting and corporate accounting.
Forensic Accounting

The objective of the forensic accounting program is to develop skills in accounting, auditing, and investigating to uncover truth while conducting financial and/or systems examinations.  Forensic accountants are needed for litigation support, corporate investigations, criminal matters, and preparing and assessing insurance claims and damages.

Business Administration This program provides a broad understanding of the American business system and basic business principles.  Five different tracks are available including General, Advertising, Finance, Human Resource Management, and Marketing.
International Business As major U.S. and foreign corporations continue to expand in international markets attractive career opportunities are available in this field.
Business Communication Designed for students interested in advertising, marketing and public relations.
Mortuary Science
A cooperative program with Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.
Business Administration Culinary Program A cooperative program with The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

 

Associate of Arts Degrees

Accounting A minimum of 64 credit hours with at least a 2.00 cumulative and major grade point average is required.
