The men’s and women’s basketball, wrestling, and men’s volleyball team are all back on campus. Nursing students are also on campus with second cohort of students beginging at Sharon Regional Medical Center.
The baseball team returns on Saturday and members of the Office of Admission Thiel Team will return on Sunday.
Resident Leaders and new international students return on Monday, January 15.
New student orientation is Tuesday, January 16. Students also return Tuesday with classes begining on Wednesday, January 17.


Thiel College cheer hosted its third annual Tomcat Spirit Classic on December 16, 2023 at Hickory High School.
This year’s event had 34 performances and over 800 spectators in attendance cheering on teams from all over western Pennsylvania.
This was the biggest the event ever has been and all proceeds benefit the defending national champion cheer team as it prepares for a third successive trip to NCA College Nationals.
DocuCenter closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
The DocuCenter will be closed Monday, January 15 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
It will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday, January 16.
The DocuCenter is experiencing intermittent phone outages. Anyone having difficulty contacting the office through the landline at 724-589-2267 can contact the DocuCenter through their cell number at 724-714-2155.
