The alumni choir performance was free and open to the public. The performance was followed by a reception. Alumni from 13 states including New Hampshire, Delaware, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and Florida were among the 120-plus folks who attended the event.
Widow of Thiel Choir founder Marlowe W. Johnson, Ph.D. H’02, Rae Johnson was among the attendees interviewed about the reunion for an article that appeared in the Record-Argus. The Thiel Choir was founded in 1953 and has enjoyed a long- standing reputation among college choirs in the United States.
The Class of 2023 Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology graduates will celebrate their Commencement Excercises at 4 p.m. July 27 in the Lutheran Heritage Room of the Howard Miller Student Center. The campus community is invited to line Brother Martin’s Walk to congratulate the graduates as they take part in the Thiel College tradition of marching along Brother Martin's Walk with their classmates.
The graduates are set to walk along Brother Martin's Walk at 3:45 p.m. where they will be joined by faculty and cabinet members.
Thiel College recently received additional assets as part of its involvement in the CIC’s Belong program.

Hosted by Thiel College Head Tennis Coach Gabie Eaborn and the Thiel College Tennis Team. Summer sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 20 to July 27. The first week of August will be utilized for any rain makeup dates.
