Student News

The National First-Generation College Celebration is just a few weeks away!

On November 8, our friends at the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) and Center for First-generation Student Success are organizing the sixth annual National First-Generation College Celebration.

Colleges and universities across the country will #CelebrateFirstGen students, faculty, and staff with special events, speakers, and programming on the day. Some campuses are even planning a full week of first-gen activities!

The National First-Generation College Celebration is also a unique way for secondary schools and community organizations to #CelebrateFirstGen with your community.

And what better way to participate in the day and show your first-gen pride than with I'm First! t-shirts—or other first-gen swag like posters, buttons, stickers, or pins for your students and staff!
