Campus collaboration to raise awareness for mental health resources

Active Minds and The Thiel Student Support Network are partnering with the Thiel College Counseling Center for a suicide prevention event from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, September 8.

The event will focus on resources available to anyone experiencing a mental health crisis and promote the new 9-8-8 nationwide crisis hotline. By engaging in open dialogue regarding mental health and suicide prevention and making campus, local, and national resources readily available, lives can be saved.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to stop by the table located outside of the Wellness Center area on the ground floor of the Howard Miller Student Center to pick up a small treat and learn more about these important crisis resources.
