The Wellness Committee invites employees to wear red on Friday, Feb. 5, National Wear Red Day. The day raises awareness about heart disease and stroke in women. It also serves as a reminder that preventative measures can be taken to reduce the risk of cardiovascular problems so that women can live healthier and longer lives.
To raise awareness and show support, wear your favorite red attire on Feb. 5.
Nominations for the Student-of-the Month Program are now open. The program recognizes seniors (more than 88 earned credit hours) from any academic department or program. Students are nominated by members of the faculty, staff and administration and are selected based on criteria listed below, which are derived primarily from the Mission Statement of Thiel College. Any nomination submitted in the fall but not selected will carry over to the spring and be considered along with any new nominations.
The nomination form is online. There is no limit to the number of students an employee may nominate but each nominee needs to be on an individual nomination form.
For more information, contact Associate Academic Dean for Student Success Greg Q. Butcher, Ph.D. at ext. 2031.

The Quarantine Support Squad wants to thank everyone who has donated. We have collected a variety of items that will be provided to students who are required to quarantine. We are hopeful that these small gestures of kindness will help the students feel a little more comfortable during their time in quarantine and remind them that we as a campus community are thinking of them.
Items will be assembled and delivered to students in quarantine as a way to care for and support them. Items can be dropped off at the Office of Student Life.

Communications collateral
Employees should update the logos used on institutional materials, including email signatures, letterhead, PowerPoint slides, etc.
Thiel College has used the shield and wordmark combination as the official institutional logo for more than a year. They are the only approved logo for academic co-curricular and institutional use. Additional athletic logo packages are also available.
Email signatures, brand resources, and a job request form are all available online. A Dropbox folder has been set up with instructions and the materials necessary to create new email signatures. Employees can find other Thiel College-branded resources including letterhead, logos and PowerPoint slides in the same folder.
Thiel College community members who need help with communications and marketing initiatives and collateral can now request those services with a job form. The request form is available on the communications and marketing webpage or linked directly below.
