The Greenville Neuromodulation Center Faculty Student Research Institute will host a plenary session from 1-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9 in which Thiel College students and faculty will present the research they conducted throughout the summer and previous academic year.

You may have noticed some subtle changes on the website this summer. The Office of Communications and Marketing has implemented a number of visual improvements to reflect the College’s institutional branding.
On the homepage, the featured slider has been transformed into a larger, retina-friendly version. With new devices displaying more pixels every year, the slideshow images will look good on everything from a 9-inch tablet to a 27-inch desktop screen. The slider was also updated for an improved experience on phones.
“As our website turns three this August, we’re excited to continue improving our online presence,” Assistant Director of Digital Marketing Michael McElroy said. “Paired with our new search engine optimization initiative, these changes ensure we’re staying ahead of the curve and delivering a great experience to all of our stakeholders.”

Chair of the Department of Education Doug Hazlett, Ph.D., said all of the Class of 2016 education majors have reported that they were hired in teaching positions.
