Installation of HVAC system components in the Academic Center (AC) begins next week. The work will start on the second floor. The contractor has been in the AC for the past couple of weeks, putting in the new thermostat wiring and controls. On Monday, the contractor is installing the actuators and valves.
The AC classrooms booked for use next week should not be affected by the work. Director of Facilities Mike Shultz said if there is a noise problem or schedule issue regarding the rooms where work is being done, they will try to reschedule work to another area of the AC to accommodate classroom use.
For more information, contact Shultz at ext. 2167.
