IT Notes

Windows 10 update information

Windows 10 is now available for download. This latest release of their operating system is a free upgrade, and users may receive a notice about it on the taskbar of their computer. At this time, Information Technology is recommending that all students and employees refrain from installing this upgrade on Thiel College provided equipment. Since this operating system was just released, Information Technology has not had time to thoroughly test this operating system to ensure its compatibility with all of its systems. Once IT is confident that Windows 10 will work with all of its systems, an update will be provided to campus.
