GREENVILLE, Pa.—Mike Mason, the Assistant Director of IT Operations and Veterans Liaison at Thiel College, was featured on the Remembering Our Veterans segment on Erie NBC affiliate WICU last week.
A graduate of Reynolds High School, Mason joined the U.S. Army in 1993 and served for 21 years. During his military career, he was deployed to over 40 countries and 35 states, including four combat tours in Afghanistan. He also held significant positions at the National Military Command Center, NATO, the White House Communications Agency, and the Asymmetric Warfare Group.
At Thiel College, Mason is dedicated to supporting military service members, veterans, and their families. He has been instrumental in earning Thiel College the Military Friendly® School designation, which recognizes the college's commitment to creating opportunities for the military community.
