Thiel College students recognized for graduating with top grade point averages

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Sixteen members of the Class of 2024 received valedictorian honors during Thiel College’s 150th Commencement on May 12 in the William A. Memorial Passavant Center.
Students who graduate with a perfect 4.0 grade point average are awarded valedictorian honors and were also summa cum laude honorees. The valedictorians were:
- Brianne M. Coatsworth ’24, of Washington, Pa., graduated as a criminal justice studies, philosophy and psychology triple major. She is a 2020 graduate of Trinity High School.
- Erika N. Cook ’24, of Natrona Heights, Pa., graduated as a psychology major. She is a 2020 graduate of Saint Joseph High School.
- Jared A. Curcio ’24, of Avonmore, Pa., graduated as an elementary education/special education major. He is a 2020 graduate of Kiski High School.
- Alayna Celine Flynn ’24, of Sharpsville, Pa., graduated as a communication sciences and disorders major. She is a 2020 graduate of Sharpsville High School.
- Kylie Marie Gardner ’24, of Warren, Ohio, graduated as an elementary education/special education major. She is a 2020 graduate of Champion High School.
- Abraham E. Hochstetler ’24, of Geneva, Pa., graduated as an accounting and business administration double major. He is a 2020 graduate of Conneaut High School.
- Emily Marie Irons ’24, of Franklin, Pa., graduated as an elementary education/special education major. She is a 2020 graduate of Franklin High School.
- Connor J. Lovic ’24, of Pulaski, Pa., graduated as an accounting and data analytics double major. He is a 2020 graduate of Burrell High School.
- Alexander N. Martin ’24, of Punxsutawney, Pa., graduated as an accounting major. He is a 2020 graduate of Punxsutawney High School.
- Bradley Nicholas Molnar ’24, of DuBois, Pa., graduated as an English major. He is a 2014 graduate of Slippery Rock High School.
- Jason Rau ’24, of Glenshaw, Pa., graduated as a conservation biology and environmental science double major. He is a 2020 graduate of Shaler High School.
- Emili Elizabeth Scavitto ’24, of Gettysburg, Pa., graduated as a communication sciences and disorders major. She is a 2022 graduate of Gettysburg Area High School.
- Emmalee Christarose Sheeler ’24, of Rixford, Pa., graduated as a mathematics major with a secondary education certificate. She is a 2021 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School.
- Kylie Mackenzie Vergnola ’24, of Meadville, Pa., graduated as a political science, public policy and sociology triple major. She is a 2020 graduate of Maplewood High School.
- Allison T. Walsh ’24, of Edinboro, Pa., graduated as a business administration and English double major. She is a 2020 graduate of General McLane High School.
- Madison E. Yurich ’24, of Harmony Pa., graduated as a neuroscience and communication sciences and disorders double major. She is a 2020 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.
One student earned salutatorian honors.
Steven Wright ’24, of Ford City, Pa., graduated as a mathematics major with a secondary education certificate. He is a 2020 graduate of Armstrong High School.
