GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College is ranked in the top tier as one of the best colleges in the northern region in U.S. News & World Report's 2015 Best Colleges.
The report ranked Thiel College 33rd in the publication’s list of best colleges in the northern region, which encompasses 11 states and the District of Columbia. The North Region included 72 institutions eligible for regional rankings.
U.S. News & World Report’s Best Regional Colleges rankings are based on quality indicators such as retention and graduation rates, admissions selectivity, faculty strength, and assessment by administrators at peer institutions.

Thiel College is an independent college founded in the Lutheran tradition. Located in Greenville, Pa., the College offers 60 majors and minors, 24 varsity sports, and an 11:1 student-faculty ratio. The College is also home to a new Master of Science in speech-language pathology and 2Master of Business Administration.
