Thiel College names Bevier as inaugural women’s flag football head coach

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College Director of Athletics Isaac Collins announced Friday morning the hiring of football assistant coach Jon Bevier as the first women's flag football head coach in school history.

Bevier will oversee all aspects of the program's creation and early development as the Tomcats plan to begin competition this spring.

“I'm incredibly honored to be named the head women’s flag football coach at Thiel College,” Bevier said. “This is a special opportunity to build something meaningful, empower our student-athletes and elevate this rapidly growing sport on campus.”
