GREENVILLE, Pa.—The Mercer County Guidance Counselors College Fair and Career Day, sponsored by the Mercer County Guidance Counselors Association, will be held Thursday, Oct. 4, in the Rissell-Beeghly Gymnasia on the Thiel College campus.
The fair, which runs from 9 to 11:30 a.m., is free and open to the public.
Around 100 colleges, universities and technical schools, as well as businesses and armed forces representatives, will be on hand to distribute materials and talk with students and other interested members of the community about colleges and career choices.
About 1,000 high school students from Greenville, Commodore Perry, Reynolds, West Middlesex, Lakeview, Jamestown, Sharpsville, Mercer, Sharon, Farrell, Hickory, Bloomfield, Living Word Christian School, Literacy Council of Mercer County and Keystone Education Center will be on campus for the college fair.
