Thiel College celebrates top students and awards degrees to members of the Class of 2026

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College recently awarded diplomas to its graduates and acknowledged its top performing students at its 152nd Commencement Exercises on May 9.

Students who graduate with a perfect 4.0 grade point average are awarded valedictorian honors and were also summa cum laude honorees.

Ali Baker ’26, Mila Anne Brdar ’26, Alexis R. Brown ’26, Muncie Jean Canon ’26, Marley Chapman ’26, Griffin Fraterrigo ’26, Kylee Jordan ’26, Haylie Kidd ’26, Natalie Pape ’26, Colin Schroyer ’26, Ethan Tabaka ’26, and Hayden Tucker ’26 were recognized as valedictorians for the Class of 2026 with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Abbigail Miller ’26 was the salutatorian.

Seventy-two students graduated with Latin honors, featuring thirty-two students who graduated summa cum laude, which are the highest Latin honors dedicated for students who graduate with a grade point average above 3.8. Twenty-five students had a GPA between 3.6 and 3.79, earning magna cum laude, and 15 students were awarded cum laude status with a grade point average of 3.4 to 3.59.

Students came from nine states and one foreign country, Japan. The top three states were Pennsylvania, home to eighty-four students, Ohio with nineteen students, and New York with three students. The most poular majors were Business Administration with twenty-two students, Psychology with twenty-one students, Early Childhood Education/Special Education with thirteen students, and Biology and Exercise Science which had seven students each. Twenty-five students had multiple majors or degree combinations.
