GREENVILLE, Pa.—Hundreds of students and representatives from more than 80 colleges, universities, trade schools, businesses, career centers, and military branches are expected to attend the Mercer County Guidance Counselors Association College Fair from 9–11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, in Thiel College’s Rissell-Beeghly Gymnasia.
High schools from Mercer and Crawford counties and neighboring districts have been invited to bring their junior and senior students to the fair. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to collect information and speak directly with representatives about college programs, career pathways, and training opportunities.
In addition to college and university recruiters, representatives from area employers and the armed services will also be available to discuss options beyond high school.
Visitors should allow extra travel time due to construction along Route 18, which may cause traffic delays near campus.
