GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College announces that Stephen A. Lazowski, M.E.T., has been appointed vice president for enrollment management and will begin Dec. 14.
As Thiel College’s chief enrollment officer, Lazowski will be a member of the President’s Cabinet. He will be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive admission marketing program, managing the distribution of all admission publications and materials to prospective students, and developing all levels of the enrollment process. He has more than 12 years of experience in higher education and most recently served as the vice president for enrollment management at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. He also held admissions positions at Georgia College and State University as well as Baldwin-Wallace University. He consistently exceeded enrollment and application goals at all three of those institutions.
“Stephen is going to be a valuable addition to the College’s leadership team. He’s achieved impressive enrollment results at each of his previous positions,” Thiel College President Troy D. VanAken, Ph.D., said. “As the College continues to grow, his efforts will be vital to our ability to attract qualified students, increase enrollment across all disciplines, and work together for the benefit of our students.”

Lazowski has a Bachelor of Arts in liberal studies and history from Saint Xavier University in Chicago and a Master’s of Educational Technology from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho.
Lazowski, his wife, Elizabeth, and son, Andrew, are excited to be joining the College community.
