GREENVILLE, Pa.—The collaborative project of a poet, a painter and a bookbinder is on display at Thiel College’s Weyers-Sampson Gallery through Feb. 26.

“Like a Bird Entering a Window and Leaving Through Another Window” combines the work of painter James Stewart, poet Philip Terman and bookbinder Susan Frakes.

The book contains three poems and 19 drawings and was hand bound.

A reception, poetry reading and gallery talk is at 3 p.m. Feb. 22. The discussion will focus on how artists can work together and present an alternative to the “isolated artist.”

The artists have exhibited the book and held gallery talks at three other regional universities.

Spring semester gallery hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9 a.m. to noon and 2-4 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. The display is free and open to the public.
