GREENVILLE, Pa.—About 700 students are expected to attend the Mercer County Guidance Counselors College Fair and Career Day on Thursday, Oct. 1 at Thiel College.
The fair, from 9-11:30 a.m. in the Beeghly Gymnasium, is free and open to the public. Representatives of more than 80 colleges, universities and technical schools, as well as businesses and the armed forces, will distribute materials and talk with students and other interested members of the community about colleges and career choices.
High school students from Cambridge Springs, Commodore Perry, Conneaut (Pa.) Area, Farrell, Greenville, Hickory, Jamestown, Keystone Education Center, Living Word Christian School, Mercer, Reynolds, Saegertown, Sharon and Sharpsville will be among the estimated 700 students on campus for the fair.
The Mercer County Guidance Counselors Association sponsors the event.
