Gloor and Nozicka named March Students of the Month

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Seniors Allison Gloor ’16, of Findlay Township, Pa., and Jaden Nozicka ’16, of Portage, Mich., are Thiel College’s March Students of the Month.

Gloor, a 2012 graduate of West Allegheny Senior High School, is a business administration human resource management track and criminal justice studies double major with a minor in psychology. After graduation, she plans to attend graduate school for student affairs in higher education. Gloor is president of Order of Omega Greek leadership honor society and active in Chi Omega sorority, Alpha Chi national honor society, Chi Eta Sigma commerce honor society, The National Society of Leadership and Success, and Psi Chi psychology national honor society.

Gloor was a 2014 recipient of a Vira I. Heinz Program for Women in Global Leadership scholarship. As part of that program, she studied abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica. Gloor was the 2015 Homecoming queen. She works in the Career Development Center and is a conversation leader for international student affairs.

Her parents, Ken and Lynn Gloor, live in Findlay Township.

Nozicka, a 2012 graduate of Portage Central High School, is an accounting, forensic accounting and business administration triple major. After graduation, he plans to work for the accounting firm KPMG in Washington, D.C. in their federal audit department.

Nozicka is a member of the Thiel College baseball team, Alpha Chi, Chi Alpha Sigma national college athlete honor society and Haller Enterprise Institute. He is also a resident assistant.

His parents, Greg and Karen Nozicka, live in Portage.

The Student of the Month is awarded to seniors. It is among the most prestigious student awards at Thiel College, with only about six students each semester earning the honor.
