Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach

Thiel College is seeking applicants for the position of assistant women’s lacrosse coach to assist the head coach in all facets of the women’s lacrosse program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting head coach in all aspects of running a collegiate lacrosse program: recruiting, game day management, practice preparation and drills, player development, film break down, monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes, and additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Director of Athletics.

Candidates must be self-motivated; possess strong communication skills; solid organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills; knowledge of the game; and the ability to identify and attract quality student-athletes to the College.

The successful candidate must adhere to all NCAA, conference, and institutional guidelines, policies, and rules. Demonstrate professional behavior. At all times promote the women’s lacrosse program and Thiel College in a positive way to the campus community, outside community, high school coaches, and recruits. Exhibit loyal, supportive, and cooperative behavior to the head coach, the women’s lacrosse program, and the College.

Applicants are required to have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and prior collegiate playing experience. 

This full-time 12-month position includes an hourly wage, housing, meals, and health benefits, as well as professional development opportunities.
