The Office of Admission at Thiel College is seeking a full-time, energetic professional to serve as an undergraduate admission counselor.
The admission counselor is responsible for participating in student recruitment efforts and meeting targeted enrollment goals in order to enroll a high quality, diverse student body. The successful candidate must possess the ability to identify the interests and needs of prospective students while articulating the value of a liberal arts education.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Director of Admission.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required.
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in college admissions is preferred. Well-developed public speaking, presentation, communication and organizational skills are also required. Professional work experience in sales/promotional/public relations or related field preferred with the proven ability to meet goals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requirements are within the general range of an office environment. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
