The Thiel College Department of Music and Theatre presents its 67th Annual Thiel Christmas Festival Concert at 4 p.m. Dec. 8 in the William A. Passavant Memorial Center.
Pittsburgh-area alumni and friends will get a special preview of Thiel College’s 67th Christmas Festival with a special performance at First English Lutheran Church as part of 6 p.m. Vespers during the city’s “Light -Up Night” on November 22.
The Rose Ensemble will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 in Thiel College’s David Johnson Memorial Chapel as part of the College’s Con Spirito Chamber Music Series.
Artist Thomas McNickle will display paintings from his collection, “Works Revisited,” at Thiel College’s Weyers-Sampson Gallery through December 9.
A benefit ‘bon voyage’ performance and last-minute fundraiser is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at Thiel College’s William A. Robinson Theatre for the more than 50 members of the Thiel College Department of Music and Theatre who will perform abroad as part of an 11-day tour of Greece and the Aegean Sea in May.
Thiel College will recognize the art, research, scholarship and performances of its students with a day-long Scholarship & Research Symposium on April 11.
The Thiel Players will put on a production of the award-winning rock musical “Next to Normal” on March 29-31 at the William A. Robinson Theater.
Thiel College is hosting Callie Crossley, a Woodrow Wilson Fellow, Academy Award-nominated documentary director and television commentator based in Boston, from March 24–28.
