Professor Nancy Castor received her bachelor’s degree in Special and Elementary Education from Penn State University. She received a Master of Education and her principal certification from Westminster College. Castor earned her special education supervisor certificate from Penn State University. Castor taught in the Greenville Area School District for 27 years as a special education, elementary education, Instructional Support and reading recovery teacher. For seven years, she was the principal and special education supervisor for the district. After retiring from public education in 2010, Castor was the Mercer County LEARN Team outreach coordinator. She was a presenter at the National Staff Development Conference. Currently, Castor is a member of the Community Court.
