Celebrate the opening of the Rissell-Schreyer Dome and all things Thiel College at

I Heart Thiel Day
Friday, Dec. 7, 4-9 p.m.
in the Dome!


This annual event is free and open to the public.

The family-friendly I Heart Thiel Day celebration features a variety of activities for everyone—from batting cages to an obstacle course and much more—and a $5 all-you-can-eat dinner buffet is offered by AVI Foodservices.

Community members and Thiel College alumni, faculty, staff and students are invited to produce a video (30 seconds or less) telling us why you love Thiel! Visit www.facebook.com/iheartthiel to submit a video (deadline Dec. 5) and like your favorite video. The videos will be shown through the evening on Dec. 7.

Presidential Staff Awards Nominations due Friday

It is that time of year when we look at our fellow Thiel comrades and find the desire to honor those that have done so much for the College and the community. Fill out The Presidential Staff Awards Nomination Form and submit your nominations to Linda Nochta by November 30. Award categories include: Distinguished Innovator Staff Award, Distinguished Newcomer Staff Award, Distinguished Extra Effort Staff Award, Distinguished Outreach Staff Award and Distinguished Service Staff Award. Please take the time to consider those that so deserve this recognition.

Thrill or No Thrill Event

United Way of Mercer County and Pizza Joe’s invite you to join us for our first ever Thrill or No Thrill event! This event is loosely based on the hit TV show Deal or No Deal. Only 200 tickets will be sold!

Tickets are $50 each and include pizza, wings, beer, wine, pop and more. Each ticket holder will also become a "contestant’ for the night and is guaranteed to win a prize valued at $25 and up. Two top prizes of $500 cash will be given away.
