It is that time of year when we look at our fellow Thiel comrades and find the desire to honor those that have done so much for the College and the community. Fill out The Presidential Staff Awards Nomination Form and submit your nominations to Linda Nochta by November 30. Award categories include: Distinguished Innovator Staff Award, Distinguished Newcomer Staff Award, Distinguished Extra Effort Staff Award, Distinguished Outreach Staff Award and Distinguished Service Staff Award. Nationwide, Ford dealers are donating $10 to local nonprofit organizations for each person who registers at the "Go Further with Ford Night" promotion that is being held on Thursday, Nov. 15. Greenville’s local Ford dealer, Phil Godfrey Ford, has named the Literacy Council of Mercer County as the beneficiary of this event. Tickets are $50 each and include pizza, wings, beer, wine, pop and more. Each ticket holder will also become a "contestant’ for the night and is guaranteed to win a prize valued at $25 and up. Two top prizes of $500 cash will be given away.
