It is that time of year when we look at our fellow Thiel comrades and find the desire to honor those that have done so much for the College and the community. Fill out The Presidential Staff Awards Nomination Form and submit your nominations to Linda Nochta by November 30. Award categories include: Distinguished Innovator Staff Award, Distinguished Newcomer Staff Award, Distinguished Extra Effort Staff Award, Distinguished Outreach Staff Award and Distinguished Service Staff Award. Go Further with Ford—ONE NIGHT ONLY!

Nationwide, Ford dealers are donating $10 to local nonprofit organizations for each person who registers at the "Go Further with Ford Night" promotion that is being held on Thursday, Nov. 15. Greenville’s local Ford dealer, Phil Godfrey Ford, has named the Literacy Council of Mercer County as the beneficiary of this event. They will offer refreshments, door prizes, gifts at the door and the opportunity to enter a drawing for a new Ford Fusion. See flyer for details and registration information.
Thrill or No Thrill Event

United Way of Mercer County and Pizza Joe’s invite you to join us for our first ever Thrill or No Thrill event! This event is loosely based on the hit TV show Deal or No Deal. Only 200 tickets will be sold!
Tickets are $50 each and include pizza, wings, beer, wine, pop and more. Each ticket holder will also become a "contestant’ for the night and is guaranteed to win a prize valued at $25 and up. Two top prizes of $500 cash will be given away.

Everyone (individuals and groups) is invited to enter and/or taste. Desserts are also welcomed from those not wanting to cook chili. We will sell tickets (3 for $1) for people to buy and put in a jar by the chili(s) they like best. Each chili cooker will pick a charity and all proceeds will be split between the top three vote getters. Contact Martin Bright if you will join this community-enriching competition.
