Chi Alpha Epsilon Inducts Three New Members
Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society acknowledges the continuing successes and achievements of students in Academic Success Programs. The honor society’s purposes are to promote continued high academic standards, to foster increased communication among members, and to honor academic excellence achieved by students. Members of XAE pledge to continue to excel academically, promote academic excellence in others and to help those who genuinely aspire to the same goals.
The Gamma Sigma Chapter of XAE at Thiel College currently has eight student members. Induction ceremonies are held twice a year. On Feb. 28 in the Library’s Rare Books Room, three students were inducted: Taylor Fink, Alexandra Hines and Steven Stewart. During the induction ceremony new members receive a XAE membership pin and blue and white honor cords to be worn at graduation. Diane Donnelly, academic adviser in The Learning Commons, serves as the honorary adviser. Pictured seated (l. to r.) Taylor Fink and Alexandra Hines. Standing (l. to r.) Stephen Chuba, Jason Miller, Michael Pica and Steven Stewart.
