Electrical Service Outages


As part of the renovations taking place on campus this summer, electrical service to the following buildings will need to be turned off on the dates noted:

GymnasiaJuly 20
Sawhill HallJuly 27

The contractor expects the outages for these buildings will last the entire day while the electrical equipment in these buildings is upgraded. Students have not been included on this message as most of them are off-campus for the summer, but please share this information with any student employees you currently have working in your areas.

Kiwanis' Annual Chicken BBQ


Friday, July 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Hempfield Station One Pavilion

Greenville Area Community Theatre presents "The Drowsy Chaperone"

This award-winning "musical within a comedy" features the first (and only) performance by GACT's long-time director Dr. William A. Robinson! All tickets are sold at the door. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students/seniors.

Saturday, Aug. 4, including a car cruise-in from 4-7 p.m. and concert at 7:30 p.m.

Listen to original and unique renditions of your favorite music like you've never heard it before! Bring your classic car or motorcycle to enter in the car show before you rock and roll at the concert! Food will be available at the car show. 2nd Annual Lucky Ducky Race

Sponsored by the Shenango Valley Professionals and Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Sharon Car Cruise

"Adopt" a rubber duck to race down the Shenango River for a chance to win $1,000! (Winners need not be present to win.) Tickets are only $5. All proceeds benefit the Community Food Warehouse, Shenango River Watchers and the Community Library of the Shenango Valley.

Registration begins at 9 a.m., walk begins at 10 a.m.

Our goal this year is $1500, and anyone connected to Thiel—faculty, staff, students, alumni, friends—are welcome to join our team. Raising money is easy and can even be done completely online!
