The Thiel Leadership Development Institute is multifaceted and it strives to offer leadership education based on a variety of disciplines and on relevant sources. Furthermore, information is an important element of leadership effectiveness. Therefore, student-leaders are encouraged to expand their knowledge in all possible disciplines, broadening their world views through readings, documentaries, etc. To facilitate student-leaders' acquisition of knowledge, each Leadership Development Seminar has been inspired on a number of sources, including, but not limited to, the books listed bellow.
