Danielle Dwyer ’11 is a television reporter in Toledo, Ohio. In this new video, she says Thiel College’s close-knit campus community felt like family. It was that personal connection to faculty and peers that helped her achieve success on campus and after graduation.
The only match day of the year for The Thiel Fund is coming Feb. 29, 2016. Gifts and pledges up to the first $50,000 will be matched dollar for dollar. A generous alumna has pledged to give another $50,000 to The Thiel Fund if 150 gifts are made that day. Additionally, a Greek organization alumnus has promised to donate $20,000 if 50 Greek alumni make gifts.
Bookbinder Susan Frakes, painter James Stewart and poet Philip Terman teamed up for a gallery talk at the Weyers-Sampson Gallery on Monday to discuss the collaborative project “Like a Bird Entering a Window and Leaving Through Another Window.” The work will be on display through Friday.
Professor David Miller, M.B.A. ’61 was unexpectedly called on to fill in as a senior business seminar presenter. His presentation covered a variety of topics from personal to professional.
