"Thank you, Dr. Olson."

As part of last Thursday's Founders' Day celebration, Dr. Robert Olson '60, H'09 was honored with the Louis and Barbara Thiel Distinguished Service Award. Thiel College faculty, staff, alumni and friends said "thank you" to Dr. Olson, the 18th President of Thiel College, in a video tribute.

The video was produced in-house using the Pedas Communication Center’s equipment and technology. The effort included film and production expertise from Mike McElroy, production engineer, and creative direction by Jonathan Shearer, interim director of communication and marketing. Roberta Leonard, executive director of the capital campaign, and Dr. Jennifer Behm, director of IT support services and instructional technology, provided logistical and creative support. Prominent faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the College participated in the video.

The video has reached almost 500 views since being released on Thiel College's official YouTube.
