Dr. Barry Sabol has grown his corporation, Strategic Consumer Research, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio, by helping other businesses and industries meet their goals. SCR, a full-service business and consumer market and consulting organization, works with major clients such as Giant Eagle Supermarkets, The Cleveland Clinic, Kinko’s, Pearle Vision and CVS Pharmacy to discover the answers to critical demographic, marketing, product development and customer service questions. Since 1982, Dr. Sabol has served SCR as its president with responsibility for all phases of business development and consulting.

Dr. Sabol earned his B.A. degree with a major in psychology from Thiel College in 1974. Following his Thiel experience, Dr. Sabol entered the Case Western Reserve graduate program in industrial psychology where he earned the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. Prior to launching his own firm, Dr. Sabol served as director of Fox Consulting in Cleveland from 1978 - 1982. Dr. Sabol, has served as a member of the Thiel College Board of Trustees since 1997, and was recently elected to the office of vice-chair.
