In class2008 COLLEGE FOR KIDS

Build on your imagination, creativity, and talents as you experience Thiel College's campus while attending COLLEGE FOR KIDS!

Youth in the fall of 2008 entering grades 4 through 6 enroll in the Elementary Camp.  Grades 7 through 9 enroll in the Junior High Camp.  Campers will be interested in what Thiel College has prepared especially for them.  Besides attending classes, each camper will have an opportunity to swim in the Greenville Recreation Center pool.

Here are some thoughts from last year's campers:

"I liked all of the classes that I took. Also, I liked going swimming at the end of the day and making new friends."
~ 2007 Elementary Camper

"I have one word to describe College for Kids, FUN!"
~ 2007 Elementary Camper

"I liked being able to do new stuff."
~ 2007 Elementary Camper

"I had a great time at College for Kids, and I am going to miss it now that it's over. We are fortunate that this program is offered to us, and I found it fun and beneficial in many ways. I also made great new friends! Thanks again, and I'm already looking forward to next year!"

REGISTRATION:  Payment must be made at the time of registration.  Deadline date for registration is:  June 13 for Elementary Camp and June 27 for the Junior High Camp.  This cutoff date allows us to schedule classes and order materials.  You will receive confirmation of the classes a few days before camp begins.  We retain the right to cancel any class that has less than six campers.

REFUNDS:  Refunds are possible if requested in writing by each camp's registration deadline.

LUNCHES:  Lunches are not provided.  Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch and drink.  Snack and drink machines are available.  Please no glass containers on campus.

CLASS CHOICES:  Please select second and third choices in case your first choice is filled or canceled due to low enrollment.  Every attempt will be made to accommodate your first choices.  We try to keep classes small, no more than 12 campers are in a classroom.

ID TAGS:  Every year College for Kids tries to improve the safety for all campers.  The past six years we have started to use ID tags.  We are asking that you send in a wallet sized picture for each camper so we can have his/her ID tag ready for arrival on the first day.
