Accepted students,
Your next step to join Thiel College in August 2012 is to participate in one of our Registration Days. These events provide you the opportunity to meet with faculty members, complete your fall class schedule, get your Thiel ID picture taken and meet other new students.
Begin by scheduling your Registration Day!
Important — Before you register, browse First Year Seminar Courses; you will have to choose three when scheduling your day. Once you have submitted your registration, visit the Important Forms section to complete everything else needed before you arrive on campus.

After lunch, families can attend the Thiel services and activities fair where many of Thiel’s extra-curricular options will be on display. Families will finish the day with an optional tour of the freshman residence halls (with the opportunity to rank their 1-4 selection) and take a campus tour lead by a current student.
Optional Placement Tests
Students have the opportunity to take a math placement test prior to check in if they want to try to place into a higher math course than what they are assigned.
Optional foreign language proficiency testing (French, German, Spanish, and Latin) will also be available to determine placement in a language or possible exemption from foreign language courses. The test is computer-driven and has no oral component. The questions test vocabulary, grammar and reading comprehension. To fulfill Thiel’s Foreign Language requirement, all students must take: two semesters of the same foreign language, one semester of a foreign language at the intermediate level or exemption via proficiency examination.
