First-Year Student Orientation

Welcome to the home of Thiel's First-Year Student Orientation on the Web!

This years move in day will take place on Friday, August 26th, 2011. Orienation will be held from Friday, August 26th-Sunday 28th, 2011.

First-Year Student Orientation is an important part of your Thiel education; it is the beginning of four years that will shape your future. This program is designed to help you with the transition to college, to lay out the College’s expectations for you and educate you about the opportunities that await you during this exciting time. There are a myriad of activities, both in and out of the classroom, that are offered during Orientation and the First-Year Experience that will prepare you for the next four years. Don’t worry, it’s not all work; there are going to be fun activities and social events along with classroom work. We invite you to fully participate in this program, and by the end of it, you’ll not only be ready for what the future holds, you’ll have a better understanding of who you are and will have made a lot of new friends with whom to explore the opportunities waiting here at Thiel College!
