The Department of Business Administration and Accounting at Thiel College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in international business and marketing for Fall 2014. An MBA degree and rich business experience or a Ph.D. (in hand or imminent) and highly relevant business experience are required for this position. Extensive travel abroad is desirable. Courses to be taught include: Macroeconomics, Advertising, Business Communication, International Business, and International Marketing.
The successful candidate will support the overall program of the Department of Business Administration and Accounting including the academic advising of students, student/faculty research, and student entrepreneurship, and will be asked to contribute to the core curriculum of the College on a periodic basis. Macroeconomics is part of the current core.
