Chi Alpha Sigma inducts 13 at SAAC senior banquet

GREENVILLE, Pa.—The Thiel College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) held its annual Senior Student-Athlete Awards Banquet Sunday at the Lutheran Heritage Room.

As part of the ceremony, Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, inducted 13 new members.

Those inducted include: John Amorose, John Beal, Taryn Benner, Sean Byham, Cody Covine, Ryan Hart, Nic Jones, Tanner Liptrap, Steve Morgan, Melissa Sloan, Hanna Stelmach, Bryce Whittingham and Duncan Wingard.

The Distinguished Senior Male and Female Student-Athlete Awards were presented to Ryan Hart and Leanna Yeager, respectively. Ashley Dolan was honored with the Top Tomcat Award.

Andrew Grover, department chair and professor of mathematics and computer science, was honored with the SAAC Extra Effort Award. Fred Kiser '66 served as keynote speaker at the banquet.
