Thiel College Board of Trustee Secretary Named Lawyer of the Year

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College Board of Trustees Secretary, Susan R. Snowden was recently named a 2014 Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America, along with three of her colleagues at Martin & Seibert, L.C., a firm with offices in West Virginia, Maryland and Virginia.

Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the Lawyer of the Year, making this accolade particularly significant. As a peer selected award, being named Lawyers of the Year speaks to the high level of respect other leading lawyers have for Snowden and her colleagues.

Snowden has served on the Thiel College Board of Trustees since 2005 and was elected to Board Secretary in 2010. Representing the Western Maryland and West Virginia Lutheran Synod, Susan also chairs the Student and Religious Life Committee. Her son, John Snowden, graduated from Thiel in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a minor in Political Science.
