GREENVILLE, Pa.-- The 21st Annual Kappa Sigma See-Saw-A-Thon to raise money for the Military Heroes Campaign starts Thursday on the lawn near Thiel College’s Howard Miller Student Center.
From noon Thursday until noon Sunday, the Thiel College chapter of Kappa Sigma will ride a 25-foot long metal see-saw for 72 consecutive hours.
Money raised during the marathon see-saw ride will go to the Military Heroes Campaign.
Kappa Sigma created the Military Heroes Campaign in 2007. The Military Heroes Campaign honors and aids thousands of military veterans and their families in communities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Since its inception, the campaign has donated nearly $500,000 to non-profit organizations who advocate on behalf of servicemen and women and those wounded in combat.
