GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College announces Brian Bradshaw, M.S., was appointed to the Department of Math and Computer Science as a visiting instructor of computer science for this fall.
“Thiel College is pleased to have a person with Bradshaw’s experience join our faculty,” said Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College Lynn Franken, Ph.D.
Bradshaw is a doctoral student at Robert Morris University in information systems and communications. He received his Master of Science in communications and computer information systems (CIS) from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He also has a Bachelor of Science in music from Clarion and a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications and CIS from Westminster College. Bradshaw has held certifications from CISCO, Microsoft, Novell and in information assurance. He has also done graduate work in educational pedagogy, music technology and audio engineering.
Bradshaw retired after 20 years of service in the U.S. Army Special Operations. He did tours of duty with the North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command. He also served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Germany and Saudi Arabia.
Bradshaw’s research areas include music information retrieval systems and multicultural learning perception in the CIS classroom. He has also researched the use of multimedia technology in the casino gaming industry and the use of social media technology in psychological warfare.
