The Thiel College Department of Performing Arts will present its 64th annual Christmas Festival, “Go Tell it on the Mountain,” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4 in the William A. Passavant Memorial Center.
Thiel College is hostingRichard Mitchell’s collection “The Vaudeville Team of Jesse Block & Eva Sully: A Photographic Family Album” through Dec. 7 in the Weyers-Sampson Gallery of the Howard Miller Student Center.
Internationally acclaimed and award-winning cellist Joshua Roman will perform selections from the cello suites of Johann Sebastian Bach at Thiel College’s David Johnson Memorial Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 as part of the College’s Con Spirito Chamber Music Concert Series.
The Greenville Symphony Orchestra will perform a free pops concert at Thiel College on Sept. 10 at 2 p.m.
Thiel College Assistant Professor of Performing Arts Pete Rydberg, Ph.D., and student researcher Austin Hall ’17 are preparing to debut their original documentary theatre performance “Berlin ist Gefallen!” (“Berlin has fallen!”) on Sept. 9 and 10. Shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the William A. Robinson Theater.
The Thiel College Spring Semester Student Recital and Handbell Concert will be held April 26 at the David Johnson Memorial Chapel. In addition, the Thiel Choir will host its final spring concert of the year on May 1. Both productions are free and open to the public.
The Thiel Players will perform their fifth and final production of the 2015-2016 academic year “At the Ark at Eight” on April 29-30 and May 1 in the College’s William A. Robinson Theater.
The Thiel Players will perform their fourth production of the academic year “Medea” on April 15-16 and April 17 in Thiel College’s William A. Robinson Theater.
