Presidential announcements, historic fundraising and campus facility upgrades made up the news items at Thiel College that received the most attention this year. The last day of the year marks the close of the historic Thiel 2016 Campaign. En route to surpassing its goal, the Campaign has now raised more money than any fundraising effort in the College’s 150-year history. Campaign gifts have totaled more than $65 million.
Thiel College’s Phi Theta Phi fraternity will engage in their annual Walk-a-thon for the Free Care Fund at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh beginning Friday, Dec. 2 and ending Sunday, Dec. 4.
The Thiel College Department of Performing Arts will present its 64th annual Christmas Festival, “Go Tell it on the Mountain,” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4 in the William A. Passavant Memorial Center.
