The Thiel College athletic department kicked off Memorial Day weekend with its annual Blue-Gold Golf Outing at the Greens of Greenville on Friday, May 23.
The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) recently unveiled plans for its first-ever Scholar-Athlete of the Year Banquet, which will be held Monday, May 19, at the Cranberry Room of the Four Points by Sheraton in Cranberry Township, Pa.

Thiel College Director of Athletics Jack Leipheimer ’74 has been appointed to the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Division III Football Committee. His term of service on the committee begins immediately and will continue through September 1, 2017, when he will be eligible for reappointment.
The Thiel College Blue-Gold Club will hold its annual golf scramble on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Greens of Greenville. The event, which drew 132 participants last year, annually raises funds to support the College’s 24 varsity athletics programs.

One night after earning All-American honors, Thiel junior wrestler Jacob Lowry (Smithfield, Pa./Albert Gallatin) wrapped up the 2014 NCAA Championships with a third-place finish at the U.S. Cellular Center Saturday.
