Thiel College President Troy D. VanAken, Ph.D., unveiled the public phase of the College’s most ambitious fundraising campaign in its 149-year history today. The Thiel 2016 Campaign aims to raise $60 million by the end of 2016.
Thiel College women’s lacrosse coach Kati Robbins and members of her team will host a camp at Alumni Stadium on three Sundays in September.
Thiel College announces today that Director of Athletics Jack Leipheimer ’74 will retire in December 2015. Leipheimer is a member of the President’s Cabinet and responsible for day-to-day operations of the athletics department, including oversight of the College’s 23 NCAA Division III varsity sports, competitive cheer and dance teams, intramurals, and other athletic initiatives.

For the 21st time, the Thiel Tomcats are the champions of the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC). Four Tomcats won individual titles Friday, leading Thiel to the team title at the 56th annual PAC Wrestling Championships, which took place at Washington & Jefferson College.
The public is invited to celebrate the fifth annual opening of the Rissell-Schreyer Dome from 5-10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5 at Alumni Stadium in Greenville, Pa. This event is free and open to the public.
