Thiel College is pleased to announce the appointment of Theresa M. Law, JD, CFRE, who has been named vice president for college advancement, a position she will assume on March 3.
On Feb. 6, Thiel College will recognize 12 faculty and staff and Thiel College alumnus Mark A. Nordenberg ’70, H’97 at the college’s annual Founders’ Day Convocation at 11 a.m. in the Lutheran Heritage Room of the Howard Miller Student Center.
Dotun Akinwale was focused, calculated and persistent during his collegiate career at Thiel. When he was not in the Academic Center laboring for his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, he was working out in the Paul Bush ‘66 Memorial Fitness Center to prepare for basketball season on the hardwood floor of the Beeghly Gymnasium.
The public is invited to celebrate the opening of the Rissell-Schreyer Dome on Friday, Dec. 6 from 4:30 - 10 p.m., in Thiel’s Rissell-Schreyer Dome at Alumni Stadium in Greenville, Pa. This annual event is free and open to the public.
The joyful sounds of the holiday season will ring through Thiel College’s William A. Passavant Center for the 61st year during the annual Thiel College Christmas Festival on Dec.8 at 4 p.m. The Christmas Festival is free and open to the public.
President, CEO and CFO of Washington Tool & Machine Company, David R. Andrews ‘63, received an honorary doctor of humanities degree at the Thiel College Honors Convocation on Nov. 8 in Greenville, Pa.
Thiel College elected John Barr of Pittsford, N.Y., to its Board of Trustees during the February Board meeting. Barr is the chief marketing officer for Hillside Family of Agencies, a nonprofit human service agency headquartered in Rochester, N.Y.
