Sept. 4, 2012
GREENVILLE, Pa.—On Sept. 4, Terri Fischer, educational solutions representative from Waste Management, presented Dr. Jennifer Griffin, assistant academic dean of Thiel College, with a check for $5,000. The funds were donated to the college through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit program (EITC).

Thiel College is an approved educational improvement organization with the program, providing educational outreach to local K-12 schools through programs such as College for Kids, Thiel Scholars and Earth Week.
