THIEL COLLEGE 2010 HOMECOMING COURT ANNOUNCED

2010 Homecoming Court

GREENVILLE, PA – Michelle Gable of Mars, Pa., and Mike Hart of Sandy Lake, Pa., were recognized as Thiel College’s 2010 Homecoming King and Queen at the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Sept. 18.

Gable is a biology/pre-medicine major with minors in biochemistry, accounting and business administration. She is captain of the Thiel cheerleading squad and a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, Tri-Beta (biology honorary), the Haller Institute and the Newman Society. Gable is the daughter of Irvin and Teresa Gable.

Hart is a fine art major with a minor in communication. He is a resident assistant, Peer Leader and a member of the Blue Crew, Thiel’s school spirit group. He also is a director on the Thiel Activities Board, senior class vice president and social chairman of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Hart.

SENIORS

Yousun “Sunny” Jeong is a political science/pre-law major from South Korea. She is a member of Chi Omega sorority and a member of the color guard for the Thiel Tomcat Marching Pride band.

Llan Llanos is a member of Habitat for Humanity and Kappa Sigma fraternity. He is a history major from Youngstown, Ohio.

Laura Davin, of Bethel Park, Pa., is a communication sciences and disorders major and a psychology minor. She is a three-year starter for the Thiel softball team and is a member of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Student Government Association. She is the daughter of Matthew and Susan Davin.

Jason Thomas, of Homestead, Pa., is an international business major and a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He is the son of Sharon Thomas.

Angela Blackburn, of North East, Pa., is a business administration, accounting and English major. She is the president of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, captain of the Thiel College Dance Team, president of Les Lauriers (senior honorary) and a member of Sigma Tau Delta (English honorary). She is the daughter of Mark and Sherri Blackburn.

Bryan Montozzi, of Stoneboro, Pa., is an elementary education major. His is a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, Les Lauriers (senior honorary), Order of Omega (Greek honorary), Alpha Psi Omega (theatre honorary), the Thiel Players and Tomcats Inspiring Hope. He also is the vice president of Kappa Delta Pi (education honorary). Montozzi is the son of Bob and Charlotte Montozzi.

JUNIORS

Michelle Blose, of Tarentum, Pa., is a neuroscience and psychology major. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, Psi Chi (psychology honorary), Order of Omega (Greek honorary), Lambda Sigma (sophomore honorary), Habitat for Humanity, the Psychology Club, Women Inspiring the Next Generation, Tomcats Inspiring Hope and the Newman Society. She is the daughter of Mary Francis Blose and Kenneth Blose Sr.

Ryan Prescott, of Indiana Township, Pa., was named to the Homecoming Court for the third consecutive year. He is a communication major and junior class president. He is a member of the Blue Crew, Thiel’s school spirit group, and the Thiel Activities Board and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Prescott.

SOPHOMORES

Haley Hayden, of Hannastown, Pa., is a criminal justice studies major and a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and the Blue Crew, Thiel’s school spirit group. She is the daughter of Leyla Pilon.

Matt Schneider, of Butler, Pa., is a neuroscience major with a psychology minor. He is president of the sophomore class and is a member of Lambda Sigma and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He is the son of Gary and Sharon Schneider.

FRESHMEN

Kaitlyn Williamson, of Salem, Ohio, is a medical technology major and is involved with Habitat for Humanity, Tomcats Inspiring Hope, Thiel Activities Board, Circle K and the Investment Society. She is the daughter of William and Katherine Williamson.

Jae Hong “James” Kwon, is an exchange student from South Korea who is majoring in business administration. He is a member of the Thiel Choir.
